Health and safety is one of top priorities, be it our employees, sitting residence or scaffolding users. Thats why we work hard developing our heath and safety standards. Our hard work can be seen by us meeting the requirements of CHAS year on year alongside our track record of perfect onsite safety.

Their specific health and safety arrangements to a standard acceptable to our buyers and to others
Highways and Pavements
Acorn Scaffolding is approved by Somerset County Council and North Somerset Council for working on highways. This we means we are licensed to erect scaffolding on pavements and roads once an application has been made to the Local Highways Authority.
Qualifications
CISRS
We believe in looking after our employees and their futures. Our operatives hold CISRS cards ranging from Part 1 and Part 2 to Supervisor and Advanced Gold Card Scaffolders.
DBS
We use the DBS Checking service to ensure the safety of our clients and the public is cared for. All of our scaffolders and labourers are checked at the enhanced level.
SRC
Our drivers are trained with SRC courses including; Driver essentials; Working Time Directive; Chapter 8 highway operative and supervisor.
Additional Certification
All of our scaffolders are trained in Asbestos Awareness and Working at Heights.
IPAF Certification
IPAF training allows our scaffolders to operate powered access lifts for area where traditional scaffolding will not do the job.
